Life is unpredictable.

I bought this book in the year 2002 at Popular book fair. I see that it's not expensive & it has 2 novels in one book, so i bought it. The other novel is Keeping The Moon, her 3rd book.
I've read it before but I don't remember what's the story about after so long I keep it somewhere. So I decided to take it out & read it again.

It's about a girl, Halley who is a very shy person. She doesn't really have a friend because she's a very quiet person. But one day a girl, Scarlett have moved in opposite across her house and since they became best friend. Halley has always followed in the wake of her best friend, Scarlett. Scarlett is everything to Halley. Scarlett always make new friend fast cuz she's brave. But Halley was too quiet and she's not really good in friendship. But when Michael, Scarlett's boyfriend has been killed in a motorcycle accident, and she's carrying his baby, she's devastated. And this time she really needs Halley more than anything. Though their friendship may be tested by strain, it will endure.

I really love this book. I love story about friendship and love. It feels so warm and I totally understand Halley's feeling if I were her. Just like the cover said "Anyone who's had a best friend-or a first love-would understand."

Tuesday, 9th of September.

went out with Elyn. didn't see her for ages. she's back from NS. finally.
she sms-ed me on Sunday asking whether wanna hang out or not. so i thought, why not?
we always hang out in Prangin but suddenly she called me in the morning on Tuesday & asked me whether wanna go Gurney & watch movie. so again i thought, why not?

reached Gurney about 12:45p.m. went to GSC. was thinking what movie to watch.
and finally we decided to watch Money No Enough 2.
went to had our lunch first since we still have time. the movie start at 2:25 p.m.
wanted to had lunch in McD but we don't know what happened to McD and i think it's temporary 'close' because of the new wing. so we went to food court & had our lunch.
we ate Nasi Lemak. haven't ate Nasi Lemak for ages.
after we had our lunch, we went & walk around.

at 2p.m, we went up to GSC. Elyn can't wait to watch. LOL.
bought popcorn & drink before entering cinema.
the movie was nice. it's funny but the storyline is touching.
i cried at the part when their mum died. damn sad.
money really can't buy happiness. we should be happy with what we have now & stop complaining about what we don't have. never ever be greedy.

after the movie, we went back to Prangin.
went to Popular for a while to look at books.
Elyn bought some Hari Raya card for her friend. Hari Raya is coming.
bus come about 6 something & we're on our way going home.

Woohoo!!!

We're 51 this year. it has come a long way.
i love Malaysia because of the multi-culture, the delicious food, the people here are friendly, the beautiful places here and most important is that we live peacefully together as one big family. and i love all my awesome friends!!! there's no other word to describe them.

well, i still think we have a lot of things to improve.
oh, you know political thingy. i do care about what's going on in our country and i really hope for the best for Malaysia.
i just hope that the politician will stop all the drama and focus on more important stuff like improving our country & etc.

and i can't imagine myself living at other places than Malaysia.
I LOVE PENANG!! My hometown!!!
i'm proud to be a Penangite. i just love it here.

happy birthday, Elyn!!
i had a lot of fun yesterday!!
first time singing karaoke at Redbox and i can really hear my voice clearly. lol.
it's not really a party. it was more like a gathering.
she invited 2 of her close friend and her sister and we just had fun.

the day didn't start off well at first.
they were in a rush & i was in a rush too.
she make a booking at 4 pm but we arrive late and if we're late the booking will be cancel. stupid.
but one of her friend were already there in gurney so she went to the counter and book again. and we got it finally for 5pm.
and the 2 sisters were fighting before we leave her house. sigh.
eventhough i'm used to it but i just hate when they quarrel.

reach gurney about 4:30pm.
and since her friend already booked for 5pm, we went shopping first.
we went to SaSa cuz Serene wanted to buy mascara.
first time entering SaSa and the shop are cute!!
a lot of first time. lol.
and after Serene are done shopping we went to Redbox.
Serene really loves to sing.
she sang the most until no voice. lol.
she sang Jay Chou's, JJ Lin's, Cyndi Wang's and a duet song with Elyn and lots more.
I sang Cyndi Wang's, Jolin's, Jojo's, Hilary Duff's song.
Elyn, Serene & I sang S.H.E's song too.
we were singing like mad while Elyn's friends sit there and watch us sing. lol.
and me too yesterday sing until my voice gone cuz i sing non-stop. haha.
lesson learnt-don't sing non-stop cuz our voice need rest too.
but it was really fun.

we leave at 8 pm. went to Bread History and bought something to eat cuz we were hungry.
we wait for Serene's boyfriend to come and fetch us.
before going home, bought a slice of cake for Elyn at Secret Recipe.
Serene's boyfriend came at 9:45pm and we leave.

well, i'm not really that excited but i'm sure the people who took part in the Olympic game are.
they can't wait to win all those medals and to prove that Malaysia can do it!!!

i just love the number 8.
in Chinese culture 8 means prosperity, luck, money & etc.
but the reason i love the number 8 is because i was born on Nov 8th. lol.
oh and i love watching 8tv too. lol.
i love everything that has to do with 8.

i came across an article in The Star about the 'characteristics of an '8' person'.
it's really interesting but i don't agree on some of the point.
well, it really depends on everyone.
there's one point saying that 'men & women born on this date will be materialistic, love power & authority'.
well, i don't think that i'm materialistic, love power & authority. am i? i have to ask my friend.
cuz i really don't know. hmm.

Jared Leto is HOT..hahaha..
a lot of celebrity was there such as Pussycat dolls, The Click Five, One Republic, Leona Lewis, Nicholas Teo, Show Lo, Stephanie Sun & many many more.
from local to international.
it was awesome.
i don't remember what award did Nicholas Teo won.
but i can't forget what he did when he arrive at the red carpet.
when he saw 8tv he straight went to Rina & said "hi, 8tv". so cute.
and i forget that he worked for 8tv before. hmm..
and it's the forth time that The Click Five came to Malaysia. wow.

awesome. Pussycat dolls are HOT as usual.

Show Lo won the best artist in Taiwan.
so proud of him. wish Jolin was there.

happy birthday, bro.
i know it's late but still happy birthday to you.

went to church in the morning.
missed the english mass cuz woke up late. heh.
my mum go to St. Anne again cuz she followed all the filipino. went by bus.
and since that i missed the english mass, i either have to attend mandarin mass or bahasa mass.
wanted to attend the bahasa mass but i'm scared that i'm left out & i don't know anyone there.
so i attended the mandarin mass.

the church were packed with people.
people from KL & Singapore were there for St. Anne feast.
and people from Sabah were there too.
they are doing fund raising & they have their mass in church.
and i saw people wearing their Gawai costume.
they're going to do performance i guess.

after attending mandarin mass, went to prangin again.
went to Popular cuz wanted to buy magazine. i'll be bored without them.
before buying magazine, went to the novel section.
wanted to buy novel but no money. =(
and i haven't finish reading Harry Potter.
2 more books to go. Half-blood Prince & Deathly Hollow.
wanted to read it so badly. ugh.
went to the novel section & i saw this book called 'An offer you can't refuse' by Jill Mansell.
even just by looking at the title i can't help myself & i pick up the unwrap one & read two chapter.
ugh. i'm so gonna get that book.
it's really an offer that i can't refuse. lol.

few hours later just by reading two chapter of the book. sheesh. i'm so slow.
& i wanted to go home earlier.
so i go grab a copy of ifeel & paid for it.
went to ground floor & bought a copy of seventeen cuz Popular don't have.
went to the bus stand & wait for bus.
and i'm on my way going home.

didn't see her since 11th of June.
we went to Prangin cuz i wanted to find job but failed.
it's my fault. i felt that i'm still not ready to work.
it's been like 4 months since i worked in Secret Recipe.
don't come & tell me all those nonsense like why didn't find job & don't be so choosy when finding job & blah blah blah.
i'd had enough with that. i know what i'm doing.

she came to my house about 2 something. kinda late.
and she's afraid of my cat. hahaha but it's not funny actually.
she say cat is so hairy and makes her tickle.
and after getting ready we are off to wait for bus.

it's really great to see her again.
we talk about everything.
& i think we're the only TWO who is still not doing anything.
all of our friends julia, sivaniss, phei yee, guat chin, yen swan, choy kuan, siew choo, sailishni & kanaga.
all of them are either in college or form 6.
and we're still at home doing nothing.
pro que, pro que?
i'm praying to God that i hope He'll show the two of us which path He have chose for us. sigh.
we don't want to regret making the wrong choice.
we already know what we want to do just that we want to know is that the path that God has chose for us.

in prangin we saw Yen San with her bf at McD. ahem.
didn't know what's his name & i'm surprise that they're dating cuz no one told us anything.
well, it's not really our business. heh.

23rd of July.

Went to St. Anne for St. Anne feast.
didn't want to go on Sunday cuz Sunday it's the actual day & it's gonna be very crowded & dirty.
we went on the afternoon about 4 something.
dad bring us all go.
when we were all at BM, we almost lost cuz my dad haven't been there for almost 2 years.
and the place changed a lot.
but we reached there finally. phew.

mum bought candle for us & we went in to the old church to pray.
what did i prayed for? not gonna tell you.
after that went to the new church & pray again.
my bro go around & snap a lot of picture. sheesh.
after that we go to the canteen & eat.
the building really looks a bit like Hogwart, Harry Potter's school. lol.
i'm not kidding. except the canteen & the toilet.
but i didn't eat anything. just drink.
after my mum & bro finish eating, my dad came.
he went somewhere else when we go in to the church.
after they're done eating, mum & bro bought cupcake.
eventhough it's just normal cupcake but it taste not bad so i bought myself one too.

we go walk around & see things that people are selling.
souvenirs, food & everthing. but it's kinda expensive though.
me & my bro go bought ice-cream cuz we haven't eat ice-cream for ages. lol.
went back about 6 something i think.
traffic jam cuz the working people go home at that time.
reached home about 8 something. don't really remember.

to tell you the truth, i've missed out a lot of novel.
my mum never let me buy any novel when i was in primary school or high school cuz she thought i won't read.
and it's expensive.
but hello, are you kidding me?
of course i'm gonna read it.
i love reading but i hate to read school book. BORING.
maybe that's the reason why i didn't do well in my exam.
ugh. who cares? it's over now.
the past is the past. can't do anything.
i just wish i have harry potter book 6 & 7 right now.
call me outdated but hey, at least i read.
sigh.

there are so much good book i haven't read. ugh.

ever since my mum's food stall business started, my life is different now.
the things that i'm doing everyday are-
1) sweep the floor.
2) mop the floor.
3) cook for lunch & dinner.
4) wash dishes.
5) clean my cat's & kitten's pee & poo.
6) and of course, watch tv & online.

sigh. i'm becoming a housewife now. without a husband. lol.
and when it came to lunch & dinner, the only question i've always asked myself is "what to eat?"
i hate that question.
it's such a headache to think of what to eat EVERYDAY.
that's sucks.
when i was still studying, i don't have to worry about lunch & dinner cuz my mum prepared for us.
but now I'M the one who have to think of what to cook.
but it's just simple dish though.
"nothing to eat? fry egg."
"nothing to eat? cook instant noodle."
if my mum bought hotdog or maybe ham,
"nothing to eat? fry the hotdog."
"nothing to eat? fry the ham."
sigh. that's how i live everyday.
pity me.
i started to feel that what Xiaxue said was right.
she said in one of her episode in 'Xiaxue's guide to life',
"why can't we just get hungry like once a week? so we don't have to wash pot everyday."
lol. funny.
go to Youtube & check out all the episodes. it's hilarious.

sigh. but what to do?

asenath came over to my place to type something.
it's for her application for nursing course.
she wanted to do nursing course.
she came late cuz she went to the bank to withdraw money.
i asked her to came about 10 o'clock so we can go and wait for bus earlier.
but she came about 11 something but it was ok.
i help her to type her application letter & her personal resume.
after finish typing, i saved it in her disc & off we go.

we went to 7-eleven to buy something.
she bought digi top-up & i bought other thing.
after finish our shopping we went to the bus stop nearby & wait for bus.
it took 45 minutes to reach komtar. i think so.
we went to the bus stop in front of prangin to wait for bus to gurney.
fortunately, the bus came five minutes later after we arrived.
it took about 30-45 minutes to reach gurney.
yeah, it's kinda fast actually.
and the fare it's just RM1. it's cheap.

i sms-ed julia & sivaniss once we've reach there.
sivaniss asked us to meet her in mcd.
while julia is with her college friends.
they skip their class today & go catch a movie.
she & her friends watched indiana jones.
few minutes later, i saw sivaniss with her sister, dhana & her friend.
we talked for a while & we were deciding where to eat.
when we were talking, asenath's bro, jonathan came & we're surprised.
we didn't expect that we'll see him there.
he was waiting for his honey. lol.
after discussing, we made up our mind & decide that we'll just eat in mcd.
and jonathan went other place.
we eat & talk just like old time.
we talk about our life & everything.
miss those old time. *sigh*

after finished eating, we went for window shopping. lol.
dhana & her friend wanted to watch prom night.
but we were not interested to watch any movie.
so we went downstair to start our window shopping.
sivaniss wanted to buy shoe cuz she need to attend a dinner.
but she say she's not going to buy anything.
she just want to survey the price.
but on the other hand, asenath really shopped.
we were on the 3rd floor looking around at all the stall.
some stall their goods are really pretty.
while walking, a stall catched our eye.
they sold necklace, earring, bracelet & etc.
asenath were so attracted to the earring.
all are so pretty & it's 3 for rm10.
and since she didn't shop for almost 3 months, she decided to buy something for herself.
she were choosing & i, of course join her in choosing the earring. lol.
she was asking me: "how about this one?nice?or this one?" lol.
and sivaniss was looking around to see other stuff.
and after finished choosing the 3 pairs of earring, she paid.
we walk to the other side of the stall & again we saw another pretty earring.
its a butterfly design earring & the lady told us it's new arrival.
it cost rm7.90 & asenath was so attracted to it.
she hesitated. few minutes later she made up her mind & she bought it.

went to hot market after that & looking around.
their stuff are pretty too but didn't buy anything.
few minutes later, sivaniss told us she'll wait us outside.
and poof, she's gone.
asenath didn't know that she went outside to wait for us.
we were looking for her around & suddenly we hear someone called us.
it was her. she went to lovely lace.
love that shop. such a sweet & lovely shop.
smell nice. lol.
i love their stuff. everything are lace & lots of lots of teddy bear. ;-)
but we didn't buy anything there cuz their stuff are expensive.
and i took the chance to snap picture there secretly without anyone noticed. lol.
after taking picture, we went to other places.

julia sms-ed me & told me that her movie were about to finish & asked us to go upstair to meet her.
we're lazy actually but we still went up.
we met her & her college friends there.
julia introduce them to us & she introduce us to them. lol.
after that we went downstairs again.
went to maggie t. love that shop. everything's pink.
just looking at their stuff. all their stuff are cute but the price are more cuter. [you know what i mean]
and again. doing our thing. we took picture of course. lol.
i really love their mirror. ;-)

went to mph later.
asenath wanted to buy gift for father's day.
i just love going to bookstore. don't know why.
and again we took picture. lol.
after asenath finished choosing her gift & she went to pay.
sivaniss went back first cuz her sis's friend wanted to go back already.
so we hugged her & we say goodbye to her.

after that julia and her friends wanted to went back to their college.
so me & asenath follow her till outside & we sent her off.
after that me & asenath continued our shopping.
we bought doughnut from missy doughnut.
we were hungry. lol.
and later, jonathan came & fetch us.
jonathan drop me at the bus stop cuz they are late for their practise.
he drop me at the bus stop near masjid negeri.
few minutes later, bus came & i'm on my way to home sweet home.
